The Regions feature in Corporate Office allows the client to group ‘like’ locations together. This is in an effort to create groups for easier payment mapping and inventory setup.
For initial set up, all needed regions will be configured. If the client were to enter a new country or region, it would be set up here.
If you are repeatedly having finding that you use this group of countries on items with the same price, you can create a region that will consolidate all of these into one.
E.g.: ALL COUNTRIES IN EU.
In Corporate Office, navigate to: Administration > Regions

Important: If new regions are added, inventory items and other sections that use regions in their process may need to be edited.
In inventory item setup (Inventory > Inventory Items > New Item button > Price and Discounts), select to add or edit a price group.
You will now see the new region as an option. Select the new region to add to the inventory item.
E.g.: Set up a region for North America that includes both Canada and United States. When setup is complete, navigate to an inventory item that has both Canada and United States set up in a Price Group. In the price group, add North America as a region. You will now delete Canada and United States as separate regions, leaving only North America.
Note: This process will be similar for any other processes that use regions for their use.

Open the detailed page assigned to the region, allowing you to edit the information of the region clicked.

Accessed via the Region links detailed above, this Detail page is where you view, add, edit, and delete configured regions.

Click to open the Edit Region pop-up window, where you will assign the region a name.

Region Name Field - This field assigns a name to the Region.

Remove Region pop-up window.
Click to open the Add Locale pop-up window, where you can select specific locations within the Region.

Country - This dropdown assigns a country, this will determine State selection options available.
State Checkboxes - These boxes, when clicked, select states to be assigned to a region.
Note: When the box next to State is selected it will select all the state checkboxes.
