This guide will show you the steps involved in creating an override by importing a completed .CSV file. You will be provided with a template .CSV that contains column headings that match the fields in the Add Override pop-up window detailed in the documentation linked above.
To open the .CSV, you’ll need access to spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Below you’ll find some definitions of the columns in the template file.
Note: Not all fields will be used for all override types.
PeriodName - Enter the name of the period based on your compensation plan name (e.g., Monthly or Weekly).
PeriodDate - Enter the start date of the period.
AssociateID - Enter the ID of the associate to receive the override. This can be found in their Detail Summary page.
PaidAsRank - Enter the rank the associate will be paid as.
Option - Enter the bonus option.
BonusName - Enter the bonus name.
Note: You need to match the bonus name in the compensation plan. If the bonus name in the compensation plan is Personal Enrollment Bonus – 30 Days and you enter Personal Enrollment Bonus 30 Days, it will display as a second bonus in the user’s Commission and Pay History pages in the Web Office.
Amount - Enter a decimal dollar amount to apply a bonus.
EarnedFromID - Enter the associate ID from which the to-be-overridden associate earned this bonus.
Taxable - Enter a Yes or a No for whether the bonus is taxable or not.
ApprovedBy - Type the name of the associate who approves the override.
ApprovalDate - Enter the date of approval.
Note - Type any necessary notes.
