Facebook Pixel is a tool that tracks analytical data that measures the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements. An associate can add this tracking to their eCommerce Site and Web Office by simply adding the Facebook Pixel ID to the Web Office with the Visitor Tracker widget.
The Visitor Tracker widget needs to be enabled on a widget page. Typically, it can be found in the Settings page under the Marketing Site tab.
In Web Office, navigate to: Settings > Marketing Site.
If you haven’t already, create a Facebook Pixel.
The only thing you’ll need from the Pixel setup is the Facebook Pixel ID.
You can find it by following these steps:
- Login to Facebook, and go to your Ads Manager account.
- Expand the navigation bar and select Events Manager.
- Under your site name, copy your Pixel ID number (e.g., Your Pixel ID (123456789))
In Web Office, locate the Visitor Tracker widget (Settings > Marketing Site).
Click Edit at the bottom of the widget.
The card flips revealing the two analytic fields.
Paste your Pixel ID in the Facebook Pixel ID field.
Your ID will display under the Facebook logo.
