Instagram and TikTok share Documents & Media
0
I have 2 requests.
1) Add Instagram and TikTok for Reps to share "Documents and Media"
2) Allow videos be uploaded and shareable from "Documents and Media". Currently they can only be shared from an outside embedded link.

Sheenanap thank you for taking the time to make this suggestion. Unfortunately, Instagram and TikTok do not support external applications sharing this type of content directly to their platforms. The share features in the DirectScale Web Office share text and links to files shared in the cloud. When you share a photo, video, or document from the web office, what is actually being shared is a link to that file, and not the file itself. In order to share the file itself you would need to do that directly in that social media application. Instagram and TikTok, specifically, are photo and video platforms and do not support uploading other media types (text, links, PDFs, etc.), unlike other platforms such as Facebook or Twitter.
Regarding uploading a video to be shared in Documents & Media, if you want to upload a video file, when uploading a document in the Web Office Admin, make sure you select “Upload New File” (not “Enter Embed Code”) then select the video file to upload. However, please understand that DirectScale is not intending to be a video hosting service, and there is a file size limit. Video hosting services such as YouTube or Vimeo are dedicated to reliably streaming video, which is why we suggest the embedded option for video.
