Release Notes: June 10th, 2021

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Holding Tank Public APIs [API] If you have a Binary type compensation plan, you have the option of setting up a Holding Tank for Web Office. The Holding Tank allows Enrollers to place any new sign-ups anywhere in their organization, within a set time. We have made three more APIs public: GetUnplacedAssociates, GetAssociatesToPlaceTo, and PlaceNode. This improvement allows developers to use Public APIs to pass placement, enrollment, and other information back and forth from the Web Office visual tree without requiring any custom client code/APIs.

🌟 Improved! Region ID API [API] This allows developers to get the region ID for a user according to the country/state they provide. This is important especially for international users and business expansion.

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Duplicate Payment Records [Corporate Admin] We recently did work to show payments in the correct currency. As a result, a bug was introduced that caused duplicate payment records to be shown. This has been fixed. 

🐞Fixed: Repeating Service Logs [Corporate Admin] Some clients experienced repetitive Service Log updates that showed some information being updated repeatedly. The system used the obfuscated SSN/TaxID to do the TaxID comparison. This has been fixed so the system is using the actual SSN to compare IDs, eliminating duplicates.

🐞Fixed: Unable to Delete Override [Web Office Admin] In the Web Office Admin for Widgets > Custom Notification (Multiple Country) there was an issue where, if users clicked the Trashcan icon, the overrides wouldn’t delete. This has been fixed so overrides can be deleted.

📘 Help Center and Developer Portal

📘New! Launch Readiness Testing Checklist [Guide] We created a guide specifically for testing the settings of the platform once set up to ensure that you are ready to Go Live.

📘New! New Help and Developer Resources [Developers] In the past few weeks the Learning Experience team has added new how-to and troubleshooting resources and videos to help you learn and understand the platform including: Testing Associate Statuses, Testing AutoShips, Testing DirectScale Emails, Testing Enrollment, Testing if the Correct Currency Displays, Testing Inventory Items, Testing the Business Snapshot, Testing The Commissions and Pay History Reports, Testing the Marketing Sites Widget, Testing the Order Flow, Testing the Team Dashboard, Testing the Visual Tree, Testing Web Office Messaging Team Chat, Testing the Web Office Report Center, Testing Shipping, Calling APIs in the Extension, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Adding Corporate Social Links to the Web Office, and a video for Mapping Money Out Commission Merchants.

🌟 Improved! Article and Guide Improvements [Article] The team also made many improvements to existing Help content to keep you up-to-date as our platform changes. This week we improved: Using AngularJS with more services, AutoShips Guide with detailed AutoShip template info, Testing Your Money In Integration, Testing Money Out Commission Payments, Testing Your Tax Integration, eCommerce Admin Company Settings Guide, Event Bus and WebHooks Service, Creating a Custom API, Calling APIs in Custom Content, and Customizing the Product Detail Page.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• We are working on new Web Office Homepage designs for the Dashboard, Reports, and more.
• We are doing some cleanup in the Retail Admin to better enhance the experience of our new Ecommerce offerings.
