From an associate’s Detail page, you can update the associate’s status. Changing their status can affect their commission payments, permissions, and login status.

Finding the Page
Default Status Options
- Active (default) – The associate is qualified. No issues with the account.
- Inactive – Commissions will be held.
- Deleted – No longer with the company.
- Suspended – Not cancelled, but under review.
- Terminated – No longer with the company.
Changing an Associate’s Account Status
- Click the Change Status button to open the Change Status pop-up window.
- Click the Status dropdown and select the new status.
- Click Update Status.
When the status is changed, an entry will be made on the associate’s Service Log noting what the status was changed to, when, and by whom:
The new status will reflect in the associate’s Detail Summary:
How Do Statuses Affect Commissions?
Commissions will be held if the associate is changed to the following statuses:
- Active (No Commissions)
Commissions will be forfeited if the associate is changed to the following statuses:
Creating Associate Statuses
You can create new associate statuses and configure the results that occur when an associate is changed to the status.
Finding the Page
In Corporate Office, navigate to: Administration > Associate Statuses.
Click the + Add Associate Status button to open the Add Associate Status pop-up.
Type a name for the new Associate Status in the Name field.
In the Status Class dropdown, choose which class the new status falls under.
In the Commission Class dropdown, determine whether the new status will pay, hold, or forfeit commissions.
Select other status effects that occur when an associate is changed with the checkboxes that display in the pop-up. This feature was previously configured with the GetStatusChangeOptions hook, if that hook is still active you will not be able to select any of the checkboxes.
If this hook is active in your system, You can configure these options within your product code as well, or you can remove the hook to gain use of the feature within the pop-up. If the hook is removed, you will need to add these effects to the pop-up through code. Contact Customer Care if you have any questions.
As a warning, only an admin with AngularJS web development experience should attempt modifications within your product code.
