Here’s what’s new with DirectScale the week of August 27th, 2020.

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Additional Details Logged when Updating Autoships [Corp Admin] Previously when an autoship was updated through the Web Office the only log entry was that it was updated. Now the update log includes the details of what was changed for better clarity around what is being updated on autoship records. 

🌟 Improved! Batch Edit Data Records [Corp Admin] In the Data Editor you now have the ability to save or delete multiple rows with one action. Simply check the checkbox at the beginning of the row you want to update and use the new Edit or Delete buttons.

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Testimonials Not Saving [Unified Admin] With the switch to the Unified Admin the records on the Testimonials were not saving properly. This has been fixed.

🐞Fixed: Issues with Retail Site Admin Publishing [Retail Site Admin] Publishing content between Stage and Live on the Retail Site Admin was inconsistently working. All areas should be fixed now enabling clean publishing of content between Stage and Live. 

🐞Fixed: Not Logging Activities [Retail Site Admin] The Navigation, Login Events, and Checkout Settings were not being logged to the Activity Log. This has been fixed so updates to these admin areas will be properly documented. 

🐞Fixed: Custom Widgets Not Loading [Web Office] Some custom widgets that our clients have built were not displaying when arranged in a certain order. This very silly and unpredictable bug has been resolved. 

🐞Fixed: Out-of-Stock Flag Not Set on Child Items [Retail Site & Web Office] With the new Stock Level changes last week we found a bug with items with options. The child options were not inheriting their parents out-of-stock options. Clients who were affected by this were fixed right away and the general fix went out with the standard release. 

🐞Fixed: Find Enroller Popup Not Loading Consistently  [Retail Site] When the setting to enable the “MarketSelector” is on in the Retail Admin the site will show a pop up on the pages specified. Even with the pages turned on this would not show the pop up to find an enroller consistently and has been fixed. 

 

📘 Help Center and Training

📘New! Full Volume Credit when Coupon is Used [Developers] Added this code example for when developers want the associate to receive the full qualifying volume even if a coupon is used.

📘New! Adding Associate Types [Article] and Configuring Back Office IDs [Article] Added this to bolster the initial set up documentation.

📘New! Web Office Widgets [Guide] New guide specifically for setting up widgets in the Web Office including Team Dashboard, Support, Quick Share, Business Snapshot, and more settings.

📘New! Redirect Payment Provider Clean Up [Developers] Documentation for a solution to show some ways to remove associates and orders should that be needed, as well as how to limit the associate access.

📘New! Binary XML Helper [Video] A video for using XML in binary compensation plans.

📘New! Configuring Item Options [Article] Added special character limits in image files.

🌟 Improved! Configuring Item Options [Article] Added special character limits in image files.

🌟 Improved! Web Office Widgets [Guide] Improved documentation for existing widget articles including Ranks Information Widget, Quick Share Widget, Business Snapshot Widget, Orders/Autoships Widget, Marketing Sites Widget, Corporate Social Links Widget, Personal Information WidgetSponsor/Enroller Widget, Corporate Contact Info Widget, and Banners Widget.

🌟 Improved! Payment Providers (Merchants) [Developers] Made updates and improvements to the developer Money In/Out documentation.

🐞Fixed Inserting Custom JavaScript into the Web Office [Article] Fixed some minor references to "back office" and the random "**" in Heading.

 

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

  • Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
  • Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
  • Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
  • We are documenting the Advanced Settings for all three applications.
  • We are gathering more code examples for quicker learning of custom development.
