Release Notes: July 2, 2020

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🎁 New! Banner on Login for New Admin Site [Retail Admin] Along with the banner on the Corp Admin site, we have now added banners to the Retail Admin. Check out the new unified admin experience by going to [clientID].directscale.com!

🌟 Improved! Total Sales Report Pagination [Corp Admin] The Total Sales report for clients who have a lot of orders coming in (good job guys) simply wouldn’t load due to the amount of records being returned (not so good). This report has been updated to paginate so now data is returning even for those of our clients who are processing thousands of orders and hour.

🌟 Improved! SKU Report Defaulting to Today [Corp Admin] This is another report we’ve made improvements to so the data comes back faster. We updated the default date filter to show the orders coming in for the current day with the date filter to change the view still at the top of the report. 

🌟 Improved! Updates to the Data Editor [Corp Admin] We’ve added support for IN, NOT IN, and NOT CONTAIN to the filtering options to allow you to find your exact data set even easier.

🌟 Improved! Associate Data Points Services Update [Corp Admin API] GetAssociateDataPoints has been updated to include all services that an associate is subscribed to and not just the first one in the table.

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Autoship Forecast Report Total Calculation [Corp Admin] The forecast amount was based off of the last amount charged to an autoship. This has been updated to calculate based on the current autoship template instead of relying on the past order to determine the forecast numbers.

🐞Fixed: Currency Symbol Style Options Missing [Retail Admin] When setting a currency for a country, the option to select which style of currency symbol wasn’t setting properly. The setting now matches how the Admin site sets the currency symbol style. 

🐞Fixed: Product Names Cutting Off [Retail Site] On the Product page the name of the product in the list was being cut off. We increased the number of characters to 60 before a “...” will show indicating the product name is longer than the space allows. The full product name still shows on the ProductDetails page.

🐞Fixed: Various Strings Missing for Translation [Retail Site and Web Office] There were quite a few areas where strings were missed causing some parts of the sites to not be translatable. The ones we are aware of have been fixed. For a full list of updated strings, contact support. If you see any text that isn’t translatable, please keep letting us know and we will get them added in!

🐞Fixed: Empty State for Manage Autoship Missing [Retail Site] The new page for /ManageAutoship was missing the “Add Autoship” button. Users of the site still could go to “Shop” to create an autoship, but this way they have a quick link to get there more easily.

🐞Fixed: Going from the Web Office to the Retail Site Doesn’t Keep Language Preference [Retail Site] When a user navigated from the Web Office to the Retail Site through autologin links, the language preference was reset back to English every time. This has been fixed to retain the user’s language preference between sites.

🐞Fixed: Retail Admin Missing [Unified Admin] The Retail Site wasn’t being recognized as an available site when logging in to the admin from a client specific domain (i.e. admin.[customdomain].com). Now the Retail Site shows under the Unified Admin menu no matter how you log in.

📘New! Reward Points Guide [Guide] Using this guide, you can set up rewards points in the system, including turning on reward points in Web Office Admin, enabling the reward points component, allowing reward points in shopping carts, ensuring the Rewards store is added, adding Reward Points (RWD) currency to inventory, and developing custom components to award points to associates.

📘New! Customizing the eCommerce Shop Checkout Page [Video] Added this supporting video for steps in Retail Shop customization.

📘New! Enabling a Custom Enrollment Form in the eCommerce Shop [Video] Added this supporting video for steps in Retail Shop customization.

🌟 Improved! Various Guides [Guide] Split up and expanded Business Setup and Admin guide into Company Setup Guide, Money-In Integrations Guide, and Tax Service Provider Integration Guide.

🌟 Improved! How to Create Coupons in Corporate Office [Article] Fixed broken images and expanded the help content.

🌟 Improved! Gaining Access to and Using the Client Extension [Article] Added "new or completely empty Git repository" and other wording fixes within the article.

🌟 Improved! AutoShip DailyRun and Retry Rules  [Article] Added this new section to the existing AutoShip guide.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
• Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
• We are creating more user guides for specific parts of the system such as adding a new market.
• We are exploring a new way to deliver developer documentation beyond API documentation including articles with specific code examples.
• We are documenting the testing needed for going Live with your platform.
