🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Enrollment Setting for Requiring Autoships [Retail Site Admin] There are 3 updated settings to specify which associate types require creating up an autoship before completing their enrollment. These settings are found in the Retail Site Admin under Company Settings > Settings > Autoship. 

🌟 Improved! Localized Error Message When Items Not Found [Retail Site] If a shopper switches markets or associate types during their shopping experience and has an item in their cart that is not available in the new market/associate type, that error message is now localized. The string key is “item_not_found 'item code’”.

🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Projected Commissions Still Showing After Paid [Web Office] When commissions were paid out it was not triggering the cached version of the projected commissions to clear so for a short time users would see both their paid and projected commissions for the same period. Now the projected commissions cache will be cleared on payout.

🐞Fixed: Report Center: Last Order Volume Not Accounting for Discounts [Web Office] The data that displays the Last Order Volume in the Report Center was showing the orders full volume amount and not counting any adjustments. This has been fixed so the volume shown is accurate.

🐞Fixed: Store & Region Missing from Orders.GetShippingMethod API [Corp Admin API] Configuration for setting up a shipping method by both region and store was added to the UI but it was missed in the Orders.GetShippingMethod API. Now this API returns all the data available for the shipping method.

🐞Fixed: Publishing Widget Pages Wasn’t Keeping Sort Order [Web Office Admin] When publishing a widget page (home, team dashboard, settings) the order of the widgets was not preserving between environments. This has been fixed so the sort order is consistent when publishing.



📘 Help Center and Training

📘New! Abstraction Layer [Developers] Created a cover page and modified the colors of the PDF then added a download link to the PDF in the Abstraction Layer article on the developer site.

📘New! Setting up AutoShip Inventory Items [Video] Added this video to help users who want visual and audio instruction.

📘New! Tree Types Overview [Article] Added this new article to provide a brief overview of the different commission tree structures used within the Platform.

📘New! Using the Prospect Manager [Article] Added this article to help explain how to add, edit, and manage prospects in the Web Office.

📘New! Embedding Google Drive Documents (Docs, Sheets, Slides, or Forms) [Article] Added this section to the TinyMCE article to help explain how to add, edit, and manage media using TinyMCE in the Web Office.

🌟 Improved! Inserting A Custom JavaScript File [Developers] Added a link to the Web Office Admin file/asset upload article from this developer article.

🌟 Improved! Configuring Web Office Communication Settings [Article] Updated the article to include more and accurate information.

🌟 Improved! Configuring the Placement Suite [Article] Updated the article to include more and accurate information and moved it from the Web Office Admin Settings Guide to the Basic Web Office Customization Guide.

🌟 Improved! Managing AutoShips in the eCommerce Shop [Article] Took out Requiring AutoShips info and improved it, creating Requiring AutoShips for New Sign-Ups to Checkout.

🐞Fixed! Managing Stock Levels [Article] Fixed the inaccurate definition of the In Transit column name.

 

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

  • Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
  • Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
  • We are documenting the Advanced Settings for all three applications.
  • We are gathering more code examples and documentation for developers.
