Adding a Shipping Method
-
Click the Add Ship Method button near the bottom of the page to open the Shipping Method pop-up window.
-
In the pop-up, enter a Name (such as Expedited, Next Day, etc.).
The name displays in the Corporate Shop, Web Office Store, and eCommerce Shop.
Important: The default warehouse shipping method name is “Standard Shipping”. You’ll want to use something different, or edit the default configuration.
-
Select which Regions can use the shipping method.
Different regions have their own way of handling shipping. Only select the regions that use the same shipping method and warehouse.
-
In the Stores field, you can select which stores have access to the shipping methods you create. For example, having a shipping method only available to corporate or wholesale orders.
If you’d like a generic shipping method for everyone, select every Region and Store option.
-
In the Price field, enter the shipping cost.
-
In the Shipping Cost dropdown, select how to apply the price.
-
fixedCost - One flat fee for everyone.
-
PerPound - The item’s weight multiplies by the price.
-
Table - Offer a variable rate based on the weight and dimensions of the item.
-
LogisticsProvider - Have your 3PL handle the shipping calculations.
-
-
If you are using a 3PL, enter the provided code in the 3PL Code field.
-
Click Save Method.
This adds the shipping method to the warehouse. You can <kbdEdit and Remove the method by clicking the appropriate buttons. The shipping methods will now appear in the checkout pages of the various stores:
-
In the Corporate Shop, the shipping methods will appear in a dropdown.
-
In the eCommerce Shop, they show up a list under Choose a shipping speed.
-
In the Web Office, they appear in the Shipping Method section.
Click EDIT to select a different method.
Setting Up a Shipping Table
In the Shipping Method pop-up window, you can select Table to offer a variable rate based on the item’s weight and dimensions. For example, you can have an item weighing 0-3 lbs have a different rate than one weighing 3-5 lbs.

You set up the table after saving the method. Click the Edit Table button in the Shipping Method List.

You navigate to the Edit Table - Table Shipping page.

Click the + Add Item button to open the Edit Shipping Details pop-up window where you can enter the State, shipping Amount, Weight, and Length, Width, and Height.

Click Save Changes to add the entry. Each entry should have a different Amount and dimensions representing a variable rate.
Important: If you add a shipping table but don’t enter any values, the shipping service returns a $0.00 shipping cost. If you’d like to display an error message instead, navigate to: Administration > Advanced Settings > Shipping.https://[CLIENTID].corpadmin.directscale.com/Settings?category=Shipping
Select the Show Error When Table Has No Entries checkbox and click Save Changes.
The page will autosave with every entry you add. Click the Edit button for each entry to edit the details, if needed.

Click the Remove button to delete the entry. The Shipping Chart Entry pop-up window will open requesting confirmation for the deletion. Click Delete Entry to confirm.
