🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Price Group on Order Details [Corp Admin] Oftentimes it is important to know for reporting or even some comp plans to know the associate type of the person placing the order at the time the order was placed. This ensures that if the associate upgrades or downgrades that the associate type that the associate was at the time the order was placed will remain unchanged on the order history. You can see this in the Corp Admin in the Order Details. 

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Payquicker Errors with Names Containing Special Characters [Corp Admin Payquicker Integration] This bug was isolated to the Payquicker integration and happened on the rare occasion that a user had a special character in their name (such as a “ or / ). Now the names are serialized before being sent to Payquicker. 

🐞Fixed: Errors when Changing Associate Statuses [Corp Admin] If setting an Associate Status had rules to update the associate record (i.e. remove their webalias) and the associate didn’t have the record the rule was looking for (i.e. they didn’t have a webalias in the first place), changing the Associate Status change would fail. Now the Associate Status will update and if the rule also is set to remove something that doesn’t exist, it will just skip that rule instead.

🐞Fixed: Username Strings Shared [Web Office] The string on the login page was using “username” and the string on the Login Info widget was also using “username”. The Login Info widget is specifically for updating the username, but the login page could be set to log in by username, email, or ID and a new string has been created to enable these to be set independently. Use the string “Login_Username” on the login page and continue to use “username” for the Login Info widget.

🐞Fixed: Ship To Default Issue When Adding New Address [Retail Site] When logged into the Retail Site with an existing account if you placed an order and clicked to edit your shipping address and filled out all the fields to add a new address, but then changed your mind and decided to click “Use Default Address” it would actually pass through your updated fields instead. This has been fixed. 

🐞Fixed: Cart Configuration: Updating Multiple Markets Not Saving [Web Office Admin] When trying to update the shopping cart settings and checking the “Set to Multiple Markets” the system was still only saving to one market. This has been fixed so mass updates are easier.  

🐞Fixed: Coupon Input Missing for Guest Checkout [Unified Retail Site] On the new /Application2 checkout page, the Guest checkout option was missing the “Promo Code” section to input a coupon code even if the setting was turned on. This has been fixed so even guests can use coupon codes.

📘New! Creating Custom Admin Pages [Article] Created a version of this task for an Admin without coding experience.

📘New! Returns and Refunds Guide [Articles] Created a guide to house all the various jobs to be done for returns and refunds.

📘New! Basing Rules Off Associate Custom Fields in Compensation Plans [Developers] Documentation to explain how to use the XML Editor to base Rules off of the CRM_CustomFields table.

🌟 Improved! Fraud Prevention Guide [Articles] Improved phrasing and grammar.

🌟 Improved! Welcome Developers > Basic Architecture Overview [Developers] Improved details, phrasing, and grammar.

🌟 Improved! Hooks [Developers] Updated Commissions, AutoShips, Associates, Enrollment, Notifications, Email Templates, Fraud Prevention, Money In, Money Out, Orders, Tax, Inventory by adding Request/Response models for each Hook. Also added CreateRma hook for Extension Hooks > Orders.

🌟 Improved! Abstractions [Developers]  Updated the PDF to the latest version.

🌟 Improved! Creating an Account with a Payment Provider [Article] Updated and added some information about not using the Enable Kount setting for Nexio.

🌟 Improved! Configuring Inventory Item Data [Article] Added a link to the Tax Class article and adjusted formatting and the stock status setting wording.

🌟 Improved! Setting Inventory Item Out Of Stock Status [Article] Updated and edited the wording for better user experience.

 

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

  • We are working on more easy-to-use Implementation and Onboarding guides including how to test your platform before, during, and after launch.
  • We are working to add and improve articles that clients use most often.
