Here’s what’s new with DirectScale the week of March 26th, 2020.

The world keeps spinning ‘round and we keep working here at DirectScale! Even with all this social distance between us, we still all manage to keep a bright outlook on the days ahead—especially when we have so many new things we want to introduce to you!

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Payout Account Balance on Mobile [Web Office Mobile View] The Account Balance feature that was introduced on the Pay History page a few weeks ago now has full mobile support. 

🌟 Improved! String App Clarifications [Retail Admin] The interface to add and update strings for the Retail Site had options for both Retail and RetailShop that meant the same thing.  These are now unified to avoid any confusion.

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Web Office Deep Linking [Web Office] When trying to give a user a specific link to redirect to after logging in it was always redirecting them to the home page.  It’s been fixed so direct links to pages in the Web Office will work even when the user has to sign in first. 

🐞Fixed: Custom Template for 404 Page Not Applying [Retail Admin] The custom template option for the 404 page was not being applied to the Retail Site.  This has been fixed so when creating a custom 404 page it will display properly. 

🐞Fixed: Instagram Feed Called When Toggled Off [Retail Shop] The call to get the Instagram feed was being called on every page even when the toggle was turned off.  This has been fixed to respect the setting.

📘New! Adding Training Courses to the Web Office [Video] Video explaining how to use the Training feature.

📘New! How An Associate Can Add Facebook Pixel Tracking with Web Office [Article] Added this and the following New articles to the Help Center to improve the self-help experience.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

  • Improving the user experience for when orders have volume that gets distributed over time.
  • Better backup options for when tax providers go down. 
  • Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
  • Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
  • We are creating more user guides for specific parts of the system such as customization and the Retail Admin.
  • We are creating videos for the most important parts of initial customization.
  • We are documenting the testing needed for going Live with your platform.
