🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Ability to Link to an External Admin Site [Web Office Admin] Along with the support to create an admin page specific for your company needs, you can now create a navigation link that links to any external admin services your company uses. This makes it much easier for your teams to bounce from our system to the other systems they use to support your company. 

🌟 Improved! Improved Design for New Unified Admin [Admin] The Unified Admin is something our team has been working on for quite a while. It’s not quite ready for release, but we are making updates every week and want to make you all aware of the changes coming. This week we worked on updating the design of moving from one admin system to another. If you would like to check out this new site—that is still in the works—you can go to [clientID].directscale.com. We will announce it here when the new site is fully ready to use!

🎁 New! Manage Autoship Page Template [Retail Site Admin] Last week we released the /ManageAutoship page in the Retail Site. Now we have support for your design team to take the page template and make it look exactly how you would like! Read more about the awesome feature that is Page Templates.

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞 Fixed: Account Summary Volume History Bar Cart Decimals [Corp Admin] The bar chart that shows the volume history for an associate was not rounding to a user friendly amount of decimal places. This has been shortened so the max decimal places is 3 in this view. We will also be fixing this issue in other views in future releases. 

🐞 Fixed: Printing AutoShip Invoice Prints 2 Copies [Retail Site] When viewing the invoice on the new /ManageAutoship page and selecting to print the invoice, the print view duplicated the invoice unnecessarily. This has been fixed.

🐞 Fixed: Facebook Pixel Help Link Fixed [Web Office] The “Learn More” link for Facebook Pixel on the Visitor Tracker widget was incorrectly pointed to the help file for Google Analytics. This is now pointing to the proper Facebook help file.

🐞 Fixed: Personal Info Widget Validations [Web Office] There are settings for the Personal Information widget to show/hide a person’s legal name. These settings could actually be changed by someone modifying the page elements in their browser. This has been locked down to prevent personal information from being exposed. 

🐞 Fixed: Login Redirect Broken [Retail Site] The feature to redirect a user on login wasn’t working. It has now been fixed so the feature works as expected. 

 

📘 Help Center and Training

📘New! New GUIDES Section in the Help Center [Guide] Added a new section to the Help Center called Guides. This replaces Tutorials. Guides cover the same information but are more topic/job-based instead of an app-based information dump like the Tutorials. The guides are also set up to take you through clear steps to a completed outcome rather than just provide information. We hope this adds to the usability of the Help Center.

📘New! Using the Data Editor with the New Data Manager UI [Article] Added to show how to use the new user interface.

📘New! Customizing the eCommerce Shop Homepage [Video] Added this supporting video for steps in Retail Shop customization.

📘New! Customizing the Products Page in the eCommerce Shop [Video] Added this supporting video for steps in Retail Shop customization.

🌟 Improved! How to Configure Services/Subscription Items in Corporate Office [Article] Added more specific, critical details about setting this up.

🌟 Improved! How to Set Up the Marketing Sites Widget in Web Office Admin [Article] Updated with more steps about adding tracked sites.

🌟 Improved! How to Create a Web Office Admin Custom Page [Article] Updated.

🌟 Improved! Creating Custom Web Office Pages [Article] Updated.

 

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

  • Making it easier to set up subscriptions and annual renewals
  • Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
  • Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
  • We are creating more user guides for specific parts of the system such as adding a new market.
  • We are exploring a new way to deliver developer documentation beyond API documentation including articles with specific code examples.
  • We are documenting the testing needed for going Live with your platform.
