Release Notes: September 3, 2020

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Consistency in Design Updates [Web Office Admin] Some small updates for the design when adding items was inconsistent with the rest of the Admin experience. The Custom Widgets, Tracked Sites, Settings, and Report Center pages have been updated to move the “Add” buttons from the bottom floating button to the top of the page.

🌟 Improved! Visual Tree Rank Icons for No Rank [Web Office] People in the Visual Tree who did not have a rank (mainly customers) were defaulting to the No Rank icon instead of their Customer Type icon. This has been updated as well as making sure that all ranks in the Visual Tree are based on the High Rank instead of Current Rank.

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Sales Order Report Not Filtering by Country [Corp Admin] The Orders page on the Sales tab in the Corp Admin wasn’t filtering the orders by Country. The filter has been fixed. 

🐞Fixed: Mismatched Keys on Item Options and Items [Corp Admin] When attempting to import items that had item options the only key was the SKU of the Item, not the ItemID causing mapping issues. This has been updated so the keys in the INV_OptionsItemsKeys use the option values concatenated and separated by pipes as the variant key.  

🐞Fixed: Data Editor Not Exporting Data [Corp Admin] Exporting the CSV view of the data table was not working and has been fixed.

🐞Fixed: Commissions with Large Amounts Cut Off [Web Office] For commission amounts larger than 4 digits the data was getting cut off in the left side menu. The UI has been updated to expand to fit larger commission amounts.

🐞Fixed: Resetting Password with Email Wasn’t Working [Retail Site] When trying to use and email address the “Forgot Password” flow on the Retail Site the system wouldn’t recognize the user. This has been fixed so users on the Retail Site can reset their password with their email address.

🐞Fixed: Long Text in Add To Cart is Cutting Off [Retail Site] If the text in the Add to Cart button was too long it was just getting cut off. This has been fixed so the button resizes.

📘 Help Center and Training

📘New! Money In/Out MerchantIDs [Developers] Added a list of Money In and Out MerchantIDs.

📘New! Global Auto-Apply Coupon [Article] Added this section to improve the Coupons Guide.

📘New! Payment Provider (Merchant) Integrations [Guide] Added expanded information for the Money Out set up and created a new article for how to test Money Our integrations.

📘New! Adding Volume and Bonus Amounts to Inventory Items [Article] New article to address this part of the Inventory management process.

🌟 Improved! Initial Set Up and Launch Checklist [Guide] Based on customer and internal feedback, we made improvements to the guide. The most noticeable improvements are hyperlinks from the guide to the corresponding articles, and the guide now follows informational hierarchy, walking through set up and testing steps in the most critical sequential order.

🌟 Improved! Viewing Pre-Built Sales Reports and Viewing Pre-Built Associate Reports

 [Articles] Made updates and improvements to these articles to help new users better understand how Reporting works within the platform.

🌟 Improved! Custom String Format [Article] Made updates and improvements to the article.

🌟 Improved! Creating Coupons [Article] Updated order type options in the article.

🌟 Improved! Adding, Editing, and Deleting Associates [Article] Added detail on how to update SSN.

🌟 Improved! Adding and Changing Associate's Statuses [Article] Added detail, edited, and reorganized this article.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
• Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
• Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
• We are documenting the Advanced Settings for all three applications.
• We are gathering more code examples for quicker learning of custom development.
