🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

 

🎁 NEW! API to Update Autoship [Corp Admin API] The previous API to update the Autoship details only allowed to update the last charged amount and next process date. We have added a new API to provide all parameters to update the information on an Autoship. The new request URL is: https://dsapi.directscale.com/v1/orders/autoships/{autoshipId}. See the developer documentation for the full request and response details.

🎁 NEW! API to Get Active Countries & Regions [Corp Admin API] Two new APIs have been added to make getting the countries/regions that have been configured in the system. The request URLs are: https://dsapi.directscale.com/address/{countryCode}/states and https://dsapi.directscale.com/address/active-countries/ . See the developer documentation for the full request and response details.

🌟 Improved! Autoship Summary Report Improvements [Corp Admin] When looking at the summary report for your Autoship History, the error message report has been updated to include all detailed error messages. Now when clicking on an error message, the view of those orders uses an expanded slide out instead of trying to display them in the smaller area on the summary report. 

🌟 Improved! Custom Page Titles on Browser Tab [Retail Site] When creating a custom page, you no longer need to manually set the page title that shows on the browser tab. The browser tab will pull in the Name of the page. Make sure to add your custom page name to localization so it can be properly translated.

🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

 

🐞Fixed: “Processing RMA” Orders not Showing in Web Office [Web Office] Orders in the status of “Processing RMA” weren’t showing up on the Order History widget. This has been updated so all active order types will show in the widget. 

🐞Fixed: Alignment fixes in the Side Cart [Retail Site] The alignment of the product images and names weren’t aligning all to the same spacing after we did our product images update last week. This has been fixed so everything is lining up. 

🐞Fixed: Item Options Not Showing Until Refreshing [Retail Site] If an item has one or more options to select from (i.e. color/size), the drop-down to select the items wasn’t showing until the user refreshed the app. This has been fixed so all variants always show.

🐞Fixed: Forgot Password Link Redirecting to Login [Retail Site] When clicking the link to reset your password it was redirecting to the login page and not the password reset page. This has been fixed. 

🐞Fixed: Updating Autoship Shipping Method Not Sticking [Retail Site] When editing an existing autoship, if you added or updated any items, the shipping method would erase and you’d have to select it again. This has been fixed so the shipping method persists.

🐞Fixed: Rank Volume Widget Period Mismatch [Web Office] The Rank Volume History widget had months that were displaying one month off. The date drop-down should now be tied to the correct period.

📘New! Creating an Order with the Public API [Developers] The documentation shows how to create orders using the public API should developers want to customize their order processes.

📘New! SQL Server Firewall Rules [Developers] Article that shows the SQL Server Firewall Rules page and which whitelisted IP addresses have access to which databases.

📘New! Managing Autoships in the eCommerce Shop [Video] Added a video to the corresponding article for Autoship management in the Shop.

📘New! Widgets [Articles] Added these articles to explain what each widget’s function is within the platform: QRCode Share, Billing History, Personal Info, Login Info, Add Payment Methods, Social Media Links, Corporate Communication, Offline Messages, Downline Activity Preferences, and About You

🌟 Improved! API Documentation Site Authorization [Developers] Updated the article to include the Public API Users page reference.

🌟 Improved! Customizing the Header in the Shop Site [Article] Updated the article to include more information about the double-header and market selector toggle.

🌟 Improved!  [Optional] Deciding Corporate Office Nomenclature [Article] Updated the article to include more information and clarity.

🌟 Improved! Changing Static Content and eCommerce Shop Localization [Article] Updated the article to include more information and clarity around the Import/Export feature.

🌟 Improved! Finding Associates [Article] Updated the article to include more information and clarity about the filter dropdown menu.

🌟 Improved! Compensation Plan Types and Tree Structures [Article] Updated and renamed the article to include more information and clarity.

🌟 Improved! Compensation Plan Basic Testing Outline [Article] Updated and edited the article. Broke out the ordered list steps into numbered headings to make it easier to follow.

🌟 Improved! Adding eCommerce Shop Navigation Links [Article] Updated the article with Enroller Redirect information and broke out information on each Application from Introduction to the DirectScale Platform into individual articles to improve Help Center search results.

🌟 Improved! Common Admin UI Features [Article] Broke out Common UI Features from Introduction to the DirectScale Platform into this new article.

 

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
• Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
• We are documenting the Advanced Settings for all three applications.
• We are gathering more code examples and documentation for developers.
