🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!
🌟 Improved! Smarter Logic for Import Order Ship To Names [Corp Admin API] When importing orders through the API, if a name was not passed the Ship To name on the package would be blank. This loophole has been fixed and new logic has been added so if an order is imported without a name the Associate Name from the account will be attached to the package.
🌟 Improved! Retail Site > Search by SKU [Retail Site] In addition to being able to search for products by their name and description, the SKU is now searchable.
🌟 Improved! Visual Tree > Binary Enrollment Settings [Web Office Admin] This is the first half to supporting enrollment through the Visual Tree for binary clients. A new setting has been added to create the URL structure used when clicking on links through the visual tree. The page is found in the Web Office Admin under Web Office Configuration > Visual Tree. You can use parameters for {webAlias}, {enrollerId}, {sponsorId}, {legName}, {languageCode}, {countryCode} to create a URL structure that looks like this: https://shop.directscale.com/{webAlias}/Application?type=5&enrollerId={enrollerId}&sponsorId={sponsorId}&legName={legName}&language={languageCode}&countrycode={countryCode}&isLogOut=true
🌟 Improved! Shopping In Party Banner [Retail Site] Along with the previous releases to the widgets in the back office to better support party shopping, a new banner has been added to the Retail Site to inform the shopper which party they are shopping under. This component can be managed in the Component Templates.
🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.
🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed
🐞Fixed: XML Editor > Saving Issues [Corp Admin] Making updates to the comp plan via the XML that included adding new KPIs required an entire system refresh before the KPIs would show up. The issues around saving new items to the Commissions XML have been fixed.
🐞Fixed: Currency Rounding Issues Caused Orders to be Partially Paid [Corp Admin] Calculating an order total that involved any currency conversions or discount percentages would sometimes cause in discrepancies between the amount paid and the amount calculated due to different number rounding methods. Now the order total calculation uses a tighter rounding tolerance to prevent an order total and paid amount being different.
🐞Fixed: Web Office Chat > Attachments Loading Slowly [Web Office] When trying to attach a file to a chat the page was not giving feedback that it was loading and it was loading very slowly. Now the page has been improved to attach faster with a loading spinner to let the user know the system is working.
🐞Fixed: Volume History Date Select [Web Office] Users were able to select an end date that was before the beginning date when filtering their Volume History report. Validation has been added so an end date can not precede a beginning date.
🐞Fixed: Report Center > Large Exports Failing [Web Office] The timeout on exporting reports was set to 10 minutes which would cause larger reports to fail when exporting. This timeout has been increased to 30 minutes allowing users to export larger reports without issues.
🐞Fixed: Sorting Dropdown Misaligned on Mobile [Retail Site] The dropdown to select your sorting order on the Products page was loading on the left side of the screen in mobile even though the link is on the right. This confusing UI has been fixed.
🐞Fixed: Long Names getting Dropped on Packages [Retail Site] When a person’s last names was too long, the package info for the Ship To name would drop that long name. Now even if the name is long it will pass through to the Ship To name appropriately.

📘New! Inventory Items Not Pushing to Shipping Carriers [Article] Troubleshooting article to address this issue.
📘New! Rebranding Strategy [Article] Added this guide to walk through the steps to rebrand everything on the platform should a client need to.
📘New! Database Overview [Developers] Overview including schemas and categories, etc.
🌟 Improved! Web Office Localization and Adding Google Analytics Tracking for the Web Office [Articles] Updated with the new navigation stylization.
🌟 Improved! Welcome Developers [Developers] Added the new architecture overview and additional links.
🌟 Improved! Creating Commission Overrides [Article] Added special character restriction, naming best practices, and Taxable dropdown information.
🌟 Improved! Basic Kit Configuration [Article] Added tax clarifications for kits, Options page information, and new section on how to choose items for the kit.
🌟 Improved! Adding Countries and Languages [Article] Added a note about browser caching causing a delay in Shop Admin.
🌟 Improved! Setting Up AutoShip Shopping Carts, Setting Up Shopping Carts, and Setting Up Shopping Carts For the eCommerce Shop [Articles] Removed outdated toggles.
🌟 Improved! Assembling the Bill of Materials [Article] Added a warning for the Kit Groups feature by highlighting to contact Care if they need to disable it.
🌟 Improved! Changing your Live Domain [Article] Copied this info to the Rebrand Article and linked the two articles together.
🌟 Improved! Changing Your Money Out Provider [Article] Split the steps into sections for added clarity.
🌟 Improved! Various UX [Article] Improved content and user experience flow for Activating/Deactivating Company Settings, Adding eCommerce Shop Banners, Adding Company Logos in the eCommerce Admin, Adding Google Analytics Tracking to the eCommerce Shop, Adding Social Network Links to Your eCommerce Shop, and more.
🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?
