Release Notes: April 15, 2021

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🌟 Improved! Comp Plan Conditions Based On Associate Custom Fields [Corp Admin] This feature expands the XML Comp Plan creator to enable comp plan programmers to base rules off of the CRM_CustomFields table. This expands the rules that the comp plan can use to the wildly creative world of custom programming around custom fields. Here’s how to utilize this condition: <CustomFieldCondition CustomField="1" ExpectedValue="Blue" />

🌟 Improved! Pay History Updates to Reflect Correct Currency [Web Office] Along with the release 3 weeks ago for changes to the payout and APIs, the Pay History page in the Web Office now uses the correct currency from the commission payout to display on the Pay History page. 

🌟 Improved! Setting for Showing Autoship Types [Retail Admin] This setting was created a while ago, but it was hard coded to the most common types of autoships. This week the setting has been improved to get the autoship types from the types enabled by the client.

 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Print Invoice Showing Wrong Discount [Corp Admin] This bug was isolated to viewing the printed invoice through the Corp Admin. The discount line when the discount was a percentage was displaying the percentage amount off as the dollar amount off. So a 20% discount was showing as $20 off. The orders were calculated and charged correctly and all other places to view the order were not affected by this bug. 

🐞Fixed: Errors When Doing Placement From Binary Tree [Corp Admin] The Binary Tree on the Associate record allows Corp Admin users to place unplaced enrollees on behalf on an associate and this functionality was erroring when trying to finalize the placement. This has been fixed so Corp Admin users can manually placed unplaced enrollees. 

🐞Fixed: Unable to Save New Strings [Retail Admin] When trying to create a new string key and value the page was just continuously spinning without saving. This bug has been fixed.

🐞Fixed: Navigation Links to External Sites Required “Open In New Window” [Retail Admin] If you created a navigation link to a website outside of the Retail Site and did not check the “Open in a new Window” box, the link would not work. Now external links will work even if they don't open in a new window.

🐞Fixed: Address Length Setting Not Followed [Retail Site] When the setting for maximum characters in an address field was being used, the shipping address section on the Retail Site was not following those rules. The shipping address fields now follow the setting.

📘New! Configuring Inventory Items to be Shippable [Article] This article shows the important settings an inventory item must have to be able to be shipped using the FTP Site 3PL.

🌟 Improved! Custom Web Office Login Page Content [Developers] Updated to add code examples.

🌟 Improved! Extension Hooks > Orders > ProcessCouponCodes [Developers] Updated to link to a full code example.

🌟 Improved! Developer Docs UX [Developers] Updated to separate the Extension and Cloudspark API material from Public API material.

🌟 Improved! Welcome Developers > Basic Architecture Overview [Developers] Updated to improve wording and details.

🌟 Improved! Hooks [Developers] Updated Commissions, AutoShips, Associates, Enrollment, Notifications, Email Templates, Fraud Prevention, Money In, Money Out, Orders, Tax, and Inventory to add the Request/Response models for each Hook.

🌟 Improved! Extension Hooks > Orders [Developers] Updated to add the CreateRma hook.

🌟 Improved! Abstractions [Developers] Updated the PDF to the most recent version.

🌟 Improved! Creating Coupons [Article] Updated to include a tip for adding regions and autoship coupons.

🌟 Improved! Creating an Account with a Payment Provider [Article] Updated to split the providers listed into Money In and Money Out.

🌟 Improved! Help Center > Guides [Article] Updated to organize and show the top viewed sections first.
