Release Notes: November 5, 2020

Here’s what’s new with DirectScale the week of November 5th, 2020.

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🎁 NEW! ProPay ACH Money-in Integration [Corp Admin] A new payment merchant, ProPay ACH, has been added to our list of readily available payment options. For more information on ProPay ACH or to get help setting it up, reach out to our Customer Care team.

🎁 NEW! Visibility into API Access and Firewall Rules [Corp Admin] There are 2 new pages in Administration for enhanced visibility into who has access to your system. The API Access page shows all users who have been given access to your API and the SQL Server Firewall Rules page shows which whitelisted IP addresses have access to which databases. This is not only super informative, but will help when it comes time for our SOC compliance audits.

🎁 NEW! Associate Search Filters [Corp Admin] To help improve finding associates, there are 3 new filtering parameters once you initiate a search on the Associates page. Once you begin to search for an associate you will now see 3 new dropdowns to filter those results further by Associate Status, Associate Type, and Country. 

🌟 Improved! Import/Export Translations [Retail Site Admin] This one has been needed for a long time! Thankfully now the Retail Site Admin has the same level of support for localization (translations) that we have on the Web Office Admin. There is an Import/Export option for you to download all the translatable text on your Retail Site to translate in a file instead of 1 by 1. 

🌟 Improved! Universal Sign In [Retail Site & Web Office] Users now have a seamless experience when logging into the Retail Site and Web Office. Once you are logged into one you are logged into the other. 

🌟 Improved! Mobile Responsive Menu [Unified Admin] When using the Admin sites on a smaller screen, the side navigation collapses into a hamburger menu saving screen real estate.

🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Report Center: Last Order Volume Calculation Fix [Web Office] Last week’s fix with the Last Order Volume column in the report center missed the calculation to multiply the volume by the quantity on an order. This should really be fixed this time.

🐞Fixed: Volume History: Date Formatting [Web Office] When setting up a country you can select the date format you would like to use. This works all over the office, but apparently we missed applying these settings to the Volume History page. Now the date format on the Volume History page will follow the country settings.

🐞Fixed: Product Images Stretching [Retail Site] If the product image wasn’t a perfect square, there were several pages on the retail site that would stretch the proportions of the image to make it square. This obviously looks dumb. We have fixed it so the images do not stretch and keep their proportions (even though we still recommend them being square). 

🐞Fixed: New Custom Templates and Components Not Showing Code [Retail Site Admin] When creating a new Custom Template or Custom Component the code was not being pulled in due to an update last week. This has been fixed so users can create custom templates and components without issues.

📘New! Videos [Videos] Added these videos to help users who want visual and audio instruction: Adding Stores in Corporate Office, Uploading Web Office Background Images, Adding Currencies, Configuring Advanced Email Settings, Integrating with a Third Party SMTP Service, Adding Regions and Locales.

📘New! Weekly Binary Compensation Plan XML Template [Developers] The template shows an example of how to create or edit a binary commission plan using an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) editor.

📘New! Support > Enroller Panel Widget [Article] Added this article to show how this widget is used in the Web Office.

📘New! Support > Sponsor Panel Widget [Article] Added this article to show how this widget is used in the Web Office.

📘New! Support > Upline Panel Widget [Article] Added this article to show how this widget is used in the Web Office.

📘New! Generations and Compression Rules [Article] Added this article to better explain these concepts within compensation plans.

🌟 Improved! Integrating with a Third-Party SMTP Service [Article] Updated the article to include more information.

🌟 Improved! Configuring Trees [Article] Updated the article to include more information.

🌟 Improved! Updating an Associate's Corporate Communications [Article] Improved some phrasing and information.

🌟 Improved! Managing AutoShips in the eCommerce Shop [Article] Added more information about the toggles.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
• Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
• We are documenting the Advanced Settings for all three applications.
• We are gathering more code examples and documentation for developers.
