Here’s what’s new with DirectScale the week of May 21st, 2020.

🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!

🎁 New! Type-Ahead on Custom Configuration [Office Admin] Creating custom configurations in the web office is about to get a whole lot easier!  Now you can create a custom rule without having to look up the values.  Simply start typing and the helper text will show you what values are available.

🌟 Improved! Redirect Payment Options Support [Retail Site] The Retail Site now supports payment methods that have a redirect flow to complete payments.  

🌟 Improved! Additional Caching of Set Values [Retail Site] We keep working to improve the speed of the retail site by adding additional data to the cache where we know the values won’t change.  Little changes like this are starting to add up to make for a much more smooth retail shopping experience. 

🌟 Improved! Tax Calculation Only on Checkout for TaxJar [Retail Site] This has been a hot request for a while.  Our Retail Site was calculating tax too many times and that has been addressed for other tax providers by reducing the amount of times it would call, but for TaxJar specifically we updated to only calculate tax on the final checkout page. 

🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed

🐞Fixed: Deleting Split Volume Bug  [Corp Admin] As with all new features, there will be bumps.  This one came in the form of voided (deleted) split volume records not actually being voided.  Now they will properly get voided out if the order is cancelled or refunded. 

🐞Fixed: Unnecessary Download Button on YouTube Shares  [Share Site] When sharing a YouTube link from the Documents and Media center in the Web Office, the Share page was showing an additional ‘Download’ button that didn’t need to be there.

🌟 Improved! How to Add Countries and Languages in Corporate Office [Article] 

🐞Fixed Approving Payments [Article] Fixed the broken images and formatting.

🐞Fixed Managing Paid Commissions [Article] Fixed the broken images and formatting.

🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?

• Making it easier to set up subscriptions and annual renewals
• Unifying the Admin experience across all our tools.
• Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
• We are creating more user guides for specific parts of the system such as adding a new market.
• We are creating videos for the most important parts of initial launch eCommerce customization.
• We are documenting the testing needed for going Live with your platform.
