🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!
🌟 Improved! Coupon Order Types Improvements [Corp Admin & Corp Admin API] Along with the newly updated ability to select multiple order types when creating a coupon, the API to GetCoupons has been updated to return all order types selected. We also cleaned up any coupons with the order type of “unknown” to just be blank. Placeholder text was also added to the modal to make it easier to understand that when certain options are left blank what the behavior will be (i.e. leaving the SKU field blank means the coupon can apply to any SKU).
🌟 Improved! Import Order API Cleanup [Corp Admin API & Client Extension] A defect was found with the Import Order API where the ItemID was not being assigned to the line items on the order details. The import was also not set up to handle unknown ItemIDs and oftentimes line items on an order being imported would be dropped. This has been fixed so ItemIDs will match up to the proper SKUs and if an ItemID does not exist we will still import the data as is.
🌟 Improved! New Hook When RMA Created [Client Extension] To help custom developers create triggers when an RMA is created, we added a new hook in the client extension. Hooks.Orders.Rma.CreateRma.
🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.
🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed
🐞Fixed: Out of Stock Items Still Able to Add to Cart [Retail Site] When an item is out of stock, the add buttons are disabled but we found a place where the disabled button was still letting users click to add. When on the checkout page in the sidebar, the + button was visually grayed out, but the users could still click on it to add additional quantities above what was available in stock. This little loophole has been fixed.
