Testing AutoShips

After going through the checklists in the Get Started section and setting up AutoShips, you’ll want to ensure AutoShips work correctly for your Associates. To do this, you create AutoShip orders using a test Associate in Corporate Admin, Web Office, and eCommerce Shop and see if they process.

  • Do this on your Live environment.

  • Do this for each of your Stores (mainly Corporate, Wholesale, Retail).

  • Do this for every market you have set up.

Report any errors you find to Customer Care or your DirectScale contact.

Before You Start

In Corporate Admin

  1. Navigate to your test Associate’s Detail page.

  2. Click the AutoShips & Subscriptions tab.

  3. Add an AutoShip. There are a few things to look out for when adding an AutoShip:

  4. Once added, click the Process AutoShip button. If the process failed, a pop-up would display a reason, and the Status will show as "Failed". You can check the AutoShip Log by expanding it. You can also use the AutoShips page to Review and Forecast AutoShips.

  5. Successful AutoShips will display a "Success" Status.

  6. Check that the funds withdrew from the payment method you provided.

  7. Cancel the AutoShip by clicking Cancel AutoShip.

In Web Office

  1. Impersonate your test Associate’s Web Office

    • Or navigate to [CLIENTID].office2.directscale.com and log in with your test Associate’s credentials.

  2. Using the tools detailed in Managing AutoShips in the Web Office, create an AutoShip order by adding an AutoShip item to the cart.

    • All your available frequencies should appear. If they don’t, you can add them in Corporate Admin > Advanced Settings.

    • All applicable shipping methods should pull in from the warehouse configuration.

    • The test Associate’s shipping address should pull in from the account.

    • Change the payment method to a valid card to test that the funds are withdrawn. Card declines will cause the AutoShip to error and not process.

  3. Use the AutoShips page in Corporate Admin to see the status of the AutoShip.

In eCommerce Shop

  1. Navigate to your test Associate’s eCommerce Shop ([CLIENTID].shop.directscale.com/[TEST_ASSOCIATES_WEBALIAS]/).

    • All applicable shipping methods should pull in from the warehouse configuration.

    • The test Associate’s shipping address should pull in from the account.
