🎁 New Features and 🌟 Enhancements for All!
🌟 Improved! NZD Cash as a Payment Method [Corp Admin] Another added support for international markets! We have added in the ability to add in a cash option to pay for orders with the New Zealand Dollar.
🌟 Improved! Manage Data in Client Tables [Corp Admin] The Data Editor has been expanded to enable updates to any tables added through the client extension.
🌟 Improved! Customizing Templated Pages/Components is Now Easier [Retail Site Admin] Previously when starting to work on a templated page or component you would have to create a new controller name in the Javascript and update some formatting. This has been improved so when you create a new template page or component the admin does that work for you and you can just start customizing the content.
🔮 Upcoming! Improved Unified Checkout Experience [Retail Site] Our teams are constantly working to improve the shopping experience and right now they are busy working on a whole new way to shop and checkout. Keep your eye on the release notes in the next few weeks to see what’s coming and how to take advantage of these new features.
🐞 Bugs That Have Been Squashed
🐞Fixed: iUserService Causing Deployment Failures [Client Extension] A dependency registration error in the iUserService was causing the client extension to fail when deploying code. This has been fixed.
🐞Fixed: Projected Templates Not Matching Revisions [Corp Admin] The Projected Commissions Template setting wasn’t being obeyed and pulled in the wrong revision. This has been fixed so if a specified template is desired to be used for projected commissions, it will be honored.
🐞Fixed: Custom Page Panel Closing Unexpectedly [Retail Site Admin] The new side panel to manage the custom code for pages and templates would close if you clicked outside the area. This is extremely frustrating and can cause lost work, so we fixed it.
📘 Help Center and Developer Portal
📘New! Marketplace Links [Help Center] As a part of promoting the new marketplace, we have added links from articles that discuss customization to the marketplace to help customers find help to customize the platform to their needs.
📘New! Troubleshooting [Section] This new section helps customers find and solve common issues. New articles this week include: Edit User Pop-up Won't Save, Subscriptions Not Renewing After Expiration Date, Error Adding Region Locale, Inventory Item Options Won't Save, Product Name is Required Error, Associate Stats Not Updating, and Error Enrolling Someone While Logged-In.
📘New! Adding Google Analytics Tracking for the Web Office [Article] Created instructions on how to do this in the Web Office.
📘New! [Optional] Viewing Branding Logo URL Paths and [Optional] Giving the Corporate Office's a Unique Color Palette [Articles] These help topics were found within other articles and were written as their own articles as optional steps.
📘New! Editing a Subscription's Expiration Date and Selecting Corporate Email and Text Settings [Articles] These help topics were found within other articles and were written as their own articles.
📘New! Creating Web Office Login Popups and Moving an Associate with the Web Office Placement Suite [Articles] These help topics were found within other articles and were written as their own articles.
📘New! Permissions [Articles] Added permissions information, separated content into individual articles, and made improvements to the content for: Entering Kount Fraud Prevention Credentials, Entering ThreatMetrix Fraud Prevention Credentials, and Testing the Fraud Prevention Order Process.
🌟 Improved! <VolumeType>, Operators, and Range Types [Developers] Added XML element descriptions and additional definitions.
🌟 Improved! Creating an Account with a Payment Provider [Articles] Added updated information about Nexio ACH.
🌟 Improved! Creating Coupons [Articles] Added Price Group details.
🌟 Improved! Creating Global Coupons [Articles] Added updated important information.
🌟 Improved! Approving Payments and Viewing an Associate’s Detail Summary
[Articles] Added updated important information on payment providers.
🌟 Improved! Permissions [Articles] Added permissions details and improved the content’s grammar, style, and usability for: Initial Setup Guide, Adding Subscription Data to the Database, Testing a Subscription, Viewing an Associate's Subscription, Communication Guide, eCommerce Shop Customization, and Web Office Customization.
🔮 What Cool Things Are We Working On?
- Improving shipping package support and stock level enhancements
- Ongoing enhancements to improve Retail Admin’s ease of use and add new configurable settings.
- We have created a DirectScale Marketplace [Beta] for customers to get access to Apps, Integrations, and other expert industry services and will go “live” with it soon.
- We are working on a Troubleshooting project to improve articles with steps to resolve issues in addition to showing how to do something in the platform.
